This activity is an integral part of the wider Games Readiness process that was initiated in Sochi in view of the Paralympic Winter Games in 2014.
Following the delivery of the main cluster of Test Events in February/March 2013, the programme will bring together the core team who will lead the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee Main Operations Centre (MOC) as well as the operational leads from the main stakeholders with a role in Games-time management.
This team will undergo learning, simulation, readiness activities and planning within the environment and context of a real operations centre. With expert guidance the Sochi MOC leadership team will be instructed and stress tested to achieve key outcomes and further develop as a cohesive team in order to effectively respond to any incident at Games time.
